Social Media Manager (Virtual, Full-time Position)

WealthCounsel is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the strategy for WealthCounsel’s social channels to support key brand and business objectives. This position will be a part of WealthCounsel’s Marketing Team and will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to grow and enhance WealthCounsel’s social media presence.
- This position is a full-time, salaried, virtual position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage social media ideation, content creation, production, posting, online conversations, and real-time events across social networking platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
Develop weekly and monthly editorial calendars that support brand building and lead generation efforts.
Manage WealthCounsel’s social media presence through listening and reactive response.
Drive strategies that are proven by metrics and testing through continual KPI tracking, analysis, and optimization utilizing tools such as Sprout Social, HubSpot, and Google Analytics.
Work cross-functionally with other teams to develop and execute social campaigns that enhance WealthCounsel’s brand relevance, online reputation, lead generation, and event promotion efforts.
Pitch ideas to address weaknesses, capitalize on opportunities, and strategically integrate social media in a meaningful way to support business and branding initiatives.
Stay current with social platform tech and trend developments as well as best practices in an effort to push innovative concepts and test/learn campaigns
Monitor and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of WealthCounsel’s social content.
Actively collaborate with industry partners and influencers.
Build and manage online communities on the appropriate platforms.
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing social media for brands.
Demonstrated success in generating positive ROI from paid social media campaigns.
Strong writing, editing, and language skills/copywriting background
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
Comfort with fast-paced information flows and complex issues
Experience working with social media management solutions such as Sprout Social.
Experience with or knowledge of HubSpot or similar marketing automation platform.
Experience with or knowledge of Google Analytics or similar website analytics tools.
Experience supporting an organization with multiple product lines
Experience working with enterprise content management systems (CMS)
Knowledge of, and experience working with, the legal industry
Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Basic to proficient front-end coding skills: ability to write/troubleshoot standards-compliant HTML/CSS
