Practice Development Consultant (Hybrid, Full-time Position)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under moderate supervision, the Practice Development Consultant’s primary responsibility is to generate new revenue for WealthCounsel through membership sales. WealthCounsel provides practice support products and services to attorneys, financial advisors and other affiliated professionals; therefore, the Practice Development Consultant (PDC) must be able to confidently articulate a compelling value proposition to sophisticated professionals. Responsibilities primarily consist of inside telephone-based sales activity with periodic travel to trade shows, Company events, and other sales-related events as determined by Company leadership.  This position will be a hybrid role that includes a mixture of in-office and remote work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for Practice Development Consultant include the following. Other areas of responsibility may be assigned as needed.

● Contact prospective customers/members (leads), identified both by individual effort and as provided by the Company, to present and sell WealthCounsel products and services

● Prepare and submit quarterly sales action plans to identify target leads and project the number and general types of contacts to be made

● Prepare and submit periodic sales activity reports to VP of Sales

● Promptly follow up with new and existing leads and referrals resulting from telephone and field activity

● Prepare and present sales presentations at trade shows and other Company events

● Articulate accurate and compelling value proposition to prospective customers

● Manage accurate and complete sales pipeline data using SalesForce.com consistent with Company practices

● Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Company products and services, including technical ability to demonstrate sophisticated drafting and planning software

● Provide VP of Sales with feedback on sales activities, including prospects’ concerns or objections to joining Company as member, successes and challenges in closing sales, etc.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

● Preferred Bachelor’s degree

● 5+ years inside sales experience

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

● Must have working knowledge of SalesForce

● Proven track record of successful sales to sophisticated customers such as attorneys; or proven track record of selling SAAS to senior level decision makers

● Able to prepare and deliver compelling presentations on behalf of the company;

● Maintain a professional appearance and provide positive company image to potential customers;

● Strong interpersonal skills and self-discipline; Previous experience working from home or remote location

● Occasional travel and evening work may be required.
